Bob Davis

Age 81 Horseshoe Bend
April 7, 2026

HORSESHOE BEND — Bob Davis, age 81, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away on April 7, 2026. He was born on July 31, 1944, and lived a life defined by love for family and friends, a strong work ethic, and a deep love for the outdoors.

Bob retired from AP&L/Entergy after 40 years of dedicated service. He was married to his late wife, Kathie Davis, through many adventures and moves with Entergy before settling in Horseshoe Bend to enjoy a peaceful retirement. After Kathie's passing, Bob later found love and companionship with his wife, Pat. With Pat by his side, Bob enjoyed a bucket list trip to Alaska, quiet days at home, and the steady, simple joys that meant so much to him.

He was happiest outdoors. Whether he was golfing, fishing, woodworking, tending to his perfectly mowed grass, or splitting firewood for his loved wintertime fires, Bob found joy in hands-on work and the beauty of nature. He was also an avid sports fan watching many football and basketball games especially when the Arkansas Razorbacks were playing, even if they tested his patience more often than not.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Pat; his son, Robbie Davis (Sandy); his daughter, Susan Richards (Michael); and his stepchildren, Joseph Newman, Stephanie Clevenger, and Amberly Martin. He was a proud grandfather to Chloe Cook, Charlie Davis, and Madison Richards. He is also survived by his sisters, Darlena Hatmaker and Brenda Russell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

Bob's presence will be deeply missed, but he will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Bob's life will be 10 a.m., Thursday, April 16, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home, 155 Section Line Road.

A private burial will take place at a later time at Rock Springs Cemetery, Jessieville, Arkansas.
