Carolyn R. Clark

Carolyn R. Clark, 89, formerly of Hot Springs, passed away from this life to be with her Lord and Savior on Sept. 17, 2026. She was born in Cash, Arkansas, on Sept. 19, 1936, to Howard and Helen Stidman Baker.

Carolyn will be remembered by her friends and family as someone who was always loving and kind. Her life reflected her faith, and she brought joy to those that knew her. Carolyn exhibited a special devotion to her family, giving of herself to make sure that their life was full of happiness and goodness.

She was a faithful member at Friendship Baptist Church. Carolyn worked at AMI, National Park Hospital as a Data Processing Coordinator. She was given to a life of service, dedicating her time and energy to be a Girl Scout Leader, a volunteer with Arkansas Hospice, serving as an election poll worker while faithfully supporting the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence E. Clark Jr.; and her son, Charles "Eddie" Clark.

Survivors include; daughter, Elaine Clark; grandson, Christopher (Heather) Volpert; great-grandsons, Brody and Mason Volpert.

A visitation will be held at noon on Thursday, Sept. 24, at Hot Springs Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Crestview Memorial Park.

The family would like to extend thanks to the CNAs at Sherwood Nursing and Rehab for their loving support given to Carolyn.
