Carolyn S. Taylor

Carolyn Sue Taylor, who passed away Sept. 30, helped shape Hot Springs' vibrant arts community. As owner of Taylor's Contemporanea of Fine Arts and an original organizer of the Arts Cooperative Team, now the Hot Springs Area Cultural Alliance (HSACA), she championed artists, festivals, public art, music, poetry and film.

For more than three decades, Carolyn supported Arkansas artists, nurtured emerging talent and helped establish Hot Springs as an arts destination. Her vision and dedication continue to inspire the community she helped build.

We extend heartfelt condolences to her children, Terri and Scott; grandchildren, Marcus, Drew, Clay and Izzy; and countless friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 23, at Wildflowers Church in Eureka Springs.

Memorial gifts may be made to Hot Springs Area Cultural Alliance, PO Box 1121, Hot Springs, AR 71902 or online athttps://hotspringsarts.org/donate-support-the-arts.
