Dayton Breshears

Dayton Breshears, 96, of Hot Springs died Sunday, July 26. He was born on Dec. 5, 1929, in Fannie, Arkansas, to the late Monroe and Myrtle (Wilson) Breshears.

He was a retired boilerman for the Rehabilitation Center of Hot Springs.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Henryetta (Hope); sons, Larry Breshears and Don Breshears; step-son, Guy Marlin; brothers, Lonnie and Johnie Breshears; half-brothers, Jack and Roy Adamson; two sisters, Ruth Mende and Lura Hopper; and a half-sister, Delsie Standerfer.

Survivors include one son, Dale Breshears (Glenda) of Poyen; one daughter, Trenda Ray (Brian) of Conway; one step-son, Henry Marlin (Donna) of Hot Springs; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, at Reed Cemetery with Pastor Ed Dupriest officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Arkansas Hospice.
