Deborah S. Frenzel

Deborah Sue Frenzel, 73, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away Aug. 2, 2026. She was born Nov. 27, 1952, in Dallas, Texas, to Robert Meredith and Evelyn Meredith.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Joy Edwards.

Debbie was born in Dallas, raised in Little Rock and a faithful member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock. Deborah and Art were married Nov. 4, 2000. Debbie was an artist and poet, she loved sunflowers and music. She enjoyed local theater performances. She played piano by ear; she could entertain herself, friends and family with her playing. She loved traveling, especially to the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and the Grand Tetons.

Survivor includes her husband of 25 1/2 years, Arthur Frenzel.

A celebration of Deborah's life will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at 70W Church of Christ, with Michael Cox officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are the Hot Springs Toastmasters and Rock Steady Boxing.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the many friends and groups she was involved in, especially Rock Steady Boxing where she was an inaugural member, Toastmasters and The Hot Springs Poetry Group.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or Epilepsy Society.
