Donald M. Everright
Donald M. Everright, age 79, passed away June 18, 2026, after a lengthy illness.
He was born Feb. 17, 1947, in Caruthersville, Missouri, to R.O (Jack) and Emma (Wilhite) Everright. He was a 1965 graduate of Hot Springs HS/Lake Hamilton HS and was a retired carpenter. Golf was his passion and he played three times a week for many years. He loved his departed kitties, Smokey, Whiskers, Barney and Tiggie. His beloved little diva, Lilly Belle, remained by his side. Don and Jan were bonded for 42 years. There were many adventures, happiness and tears shared together. They were the perfect fit.
Don was predeceased by his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Clay Harris; son, Shane Everright; nephew, Rob Everright; great-great-niece, Katherine Trent; and his in-laws, Raymond and Virginia Dodd.
He is survived by his wife, Janice (Dodd) Everright; son, Todd Everright; daughter, Dana (Micah) McClung; son, Angelo Bailey; brother, Ken (Shirley) Everright; and sisters, Dorothy Anderson and Sherry (John) Duede. Also survived by his grandchildren, Cameron Clark, Alyson (Griffin) Dunn, Olivia (Brandon) McDonald, Cassidy Everright, Madison McClung and Henry McClung; great-grandchildren, Rowan, Bonnie, Owen and Baby Girl Dunn coming soon; lots of special cousins, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, and bothers-in-law, Larry and Mike (Linda) Dodd; a host of close friends and his golf crew, The Hackers and Slackers. (You all know who you are!)
The family wishes to thank Dr. Neeraj Bharany (Dr. B.) for his many years of kindness, expertise, friendship and loving care. Also, thank you to Arkansas Hospice Life Touch, who were diligently there for him.
Per his wishes, there will be no services; however, a celebration party will be scheduled in his honor. Stay tuned.
