Donna L. Buxton
Donna Lynn Buxton, a cherished member of her community and devoted office manager of Crystal Springs Marina Village, passed away on March 23, 2026, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Born on Nov. 18, 1956, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Donna lived a life marked by dedication, grace and heartfelt commitment to those around her.
Donna's career was defined by her unwavering devotion as the office manager at Crystal Springs Marina Village, where she was known for her professionalism and kindness. Beyond her pivotal role at the marina, Donna was deeply involved in her faith and community. She was a proud member of the First Baptist Church of Royal, Arkansas, and actively participated in the Crystal Springs Lady Group. Her involvement in these organizations reflected her generous spirit and her eagerness to support others.
On Dec. 4, 1976, Donna married Edward Buxton Sr., sharing many years of love and partnership until his passing. She was the beloved daughter of Felix Meredith DePierre and Bettye Jo DePierre Conine, both of whom preceded her in death.
Donna is survived by her loving family, who were the center of her world. Her son, Edward Buxton Jr., and his wife, Joy Black, carry forward her legacy, as do her daughter, Annie Pettit, and her husband, Brandon Pettit. Donna's joy was also evident in her treasured grandchildren, Layne Elmore, Keelie Elmore and Camber Buxton, who brought light and laughter to her life.
Family and friends are invited to honor Donna's memory with a visitation from 10-11 a.m. on March 28, 2026, at Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs, Arkansas. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11 a.m, celebrating the life of a remarkable woman whose kindness and dedication touched so many.
Donna's life was a testament to love, service and community. Her enduring impact, through both her work and her warm relationships, will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
