Inez L. Shaw

Inez Laverne Shaw, 92, passed away on July 20, 2026. She was born on Aug. 20, 1933, in Jessieville, Arkansas.

Inez's life was defined by bringing warmth to so many, whether through a meal, a listening ear or the treasured quilts she made for those she loved.

She is predeceased by her husband, Vernon, their sons, Terry and Bobby (Terri), parents, Otis and Willie Blackmon, sisters, Mary Louise Blackmon and Doris Green, and brother, Otis Blackmon Jr.

Survivors include her son, Tim Shaw (Jonna), her daughter, Linda Shaw (Richard Jacques), her brother, Kenneth Blackmon (Dolores), five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be at Caruth Funeral Home in Hot Springs Village from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, with the funeral following on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026, at 1 p.m. She will be interred at the Shiloh Cemetery.
