Jennie L. Guest-Trott
March 31, 1943- July 19, 2026
Jennie L. Guest-Trott, 83, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, walked into the arms of Jesus surrounded by her family on Sunday, July 19, 2026. She was born March 31, 1943, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to James Guest and Dimple Guest-Porter.
She lived her life for the Lord and her family. Don't let her size fool you as she was a firecracker. She loved being in the kitchen canning with her children or behind her sewing machine. Her great-grandkids were the light of her life.
She loved to travel. One of her favorite trips was the Route 66 trip she took with her husband Wes. The memories made from summer trips with the granddaughters will last a lifetime.
She retired from Chem-Fab/Triumph after 25 plus years working in various roles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Trott Sr.; her parents; brother, Johnny Guest; sister, Joyce Graves; grandson, Kenneth Wootten; sons-in-love, Danny McConnell and William Wilson; step son, Wesley Trott Jr. and step daughter, Sherry Johnson.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Rayburn Reed (Rebecca), Stacey Reed and Tracey Reed-Wilson; adopted daughter, Kelly Matthews (Mike), son-in-law, Johnny Johnson; grandchildren, Elizabeth Laughlin (Eric), Courtney Wilson (Buddy), Kelsey May (Alex), Kristen Wilson (Zack), Hannah Walker, Paige and Lilyana Wilson, Bailee Thomas, Elizabeth and Danny Jones, Lauren Smith (Wes), Lindsey Trott, Samantha Costa (Daniel) and Danielle McConnell; great-grandchildren, Brentlee Wilson, Madison and Caleb Laughlin, Harley (her best birthday present ever), Haiden May, Georgia Grace Wilson, Ava Smith, Damien and Levi Costa. Plus her lifetime friends, Linda McNeely, Jackie Ragin, Beverly Logan, Ron Batterton and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at Caruth-Hale on Section line on Thursday, July 23. Service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Morning Star Cemetery.
