Jennifer G. Pope
Jennifer Gonyea Pope passed away tragically and unexpectedly, leaving behind a deep heartbreak for all who knew and loved her.
Jennifer was a light to so many, known for her kind heart, warm spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need. Her beautiful smile and joyful laugh could brighten any room and will be dearly remembered.
Born in Rochester, New York, Jennifer lived in several states before settling in Anderson, Indiana, and later making her home in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Jennifer loved the simple joys of life — caring for her chickens and dogs, gardening, riding in the Corvette, thrift shopping, and spending time outdoors. Above all, she cherished being "Mimi," and her grandchildren were the light of her life.
A devoted woman of faith, Jennifer was a member of Glory Barn Church and loved Jesus deeply. She is reunited in heaven with her daughters, Bethany and Lindsay.
She is survived by her loving husband, Steve Pope; her daughter, Corinne McIntosh; son-in-law, Dey McIntosh; and her beloved grandchildren, Thomas, Lilly, Ty'Shaun, and Liyanna. She is also survived by her stepdaughters Jessica (John) and their children, Jen Rine and her children and stepson Nick Pope, parents Jack & Joanne Gonyea, brothers John (Kristin) & Jeff, and many extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. April 7, at Glory Barn Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jennifer's memory may be made to the Arkansas Area Agency on Aging or the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
