In Loving Memory of Dr. Joe H. Little

Oct. 7, 1938 — April 1, 2026.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dr. Joe H. Little, who departed this life after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on Oct. 7, 1938, in Camden, Joe lived a life marked by dedication, compassion, and quiet strength.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe H. Little Sr., his mother, Margaret Little, and his two favorite feathered friends, Tweety and Kookytail.

Joe attended Hot Springs High School, Henderson State University, and the University of Tennessee. He went on to have a long career in family dentistry, where he found a large captive audience on which to exercise his practical joking skills. The fact that he passed on April Fools' Day is not lost on his loved ones.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy, his three children, Will, Brian (Jennifer), and Kelly (Sean Riley) from his previous marriage, stepdaughter, Libby Austin, five grandchildren: Hayden Little, Patrick Little, Finn Riley, Kitt Riley, and Nick Austin, and brother, Don and sister, Sue Hoey.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Cancer Society. Joe was very grateful for the skilled care of Drs. Muldoon and Al-Dadah.
