John D. Swisher

John David Swisher, age 74, of Royal, Arkansas, passed away at home surrounded by his wife and children on Oct. 2, 2026. He was born on Dec. 13, 1951, to John T. Swisher and Minnie Doris Cate Swisher.

He was an excellent carpenter and he used his skills to build houses, cabinets and furniture.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Nancy Swisher; his children, Tammie Diggs Easley (Mark Easley) of Bonnerdale, Daren Swisher (Hannah) of Benton, David Swisher, of Hot Springs, Ross Baldwin (Emily) of Alma, and Alex Baldwin (Nikki) of Royal; as well as 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at noon on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at The Refuge Church located at 3217 Airport Road, Pearcy, Arkansas.

Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m.

Arrangements are by Hot Springs Funeral Home.
