ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO — John R. Kidd, age 82, passed away Sept. 23, 2026, at his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, following complications from a stroke he suffered in February.
He was born in October, 1943, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to Tommie and Dovie Kidd. He had two brothers and five sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Kidd; his two daughters, Melissa Kidd and Kristin Kidd Bruce; his two granddaughters, Sonnet Nunnery and Paige Nunnery; his sister, Betty Maxwell (Kidd); and countless nieces and nephews.
He will be greatly missed.
