Kim T. Kilgore
Kim Thornton Kilgore, 83, died on March 7, 2025. Kim lived in Fordyce, Arkansas, and Little Rock, Arkansas, as a child and moved to Wichita, Kansas, where he lived, intermittently, most of his life.
Fifteen years ago, he moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas, to be with Susan Mase, whom he had known and had a crush on since they were teenagers.
Kim was nostalgic, undisciplined, unconventional, loyal, and hilarious. He never depended on anyone and never wanted anyone to depend on him. He lived his life and made his living with the sole aim of being with the people he loved. Nothing else mattered to him in the least except his cats.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edith and Collins Kilgore, his sisters, Shirley Kilgore and Karen Kaiser, and his brother and ballast, Collins Kilgore.
He is survived by his beloved partner; Susan Cook Mase, and her daughter, Jeremy. Kim is also survived by his sister, Kris Baber (Brent), his sister-in-law, Priscilla Kilgore, and nephews, Collins Kilgore (Lauren) and Hank Kilgore (Anne) and their children; Reuben Unruh (Katie) and their children; Greg Baber
(Natalie) and their children, and Sam Baber. He also leaves behind many dear friends especially Dan Garrity, Gary Stephens, and Gary Scott.
No service is planned.
