Larry D. Ratliff
Larry David Ratliff, 80, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away Nov. 2, 2026. He was born June 4, 1946 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to the late Odie and Jewel Ratliff.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, David Ratliff (Rebecca) and Melissa Stroope (Darin); bonus children, Gina, Dawne, Theresa, and Fawne; grandchildren, Ethan, Jaxon, Garrett, Alaina and Andrew; great-grandchild, Nora as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Larry is predeceased by his parents and sister, Carolyn Shackelford.
Beyond his professional life, Larry was an avid outdoor enthusiast. He found joy in fishing, hunting, gardening and racing dirt track cars, activities that brought him closer to nature and allowed him to share memorable moments with friends and fellow enthusiasts. His love for the thrill of racing and the serenity of the outdoors were integral to his personality. He was also a devoted member of Cedar Glades Baptist Church and the American Legion.
A Celebration of Larry's Life will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. with Bro. Bradley Sorrell officiating at Cedar Glades Baptist Church at 303 Gum Springs Road, Mountain Pine, AR 71956.
