Michael G. Queen
Michael George Queen, 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, his loving wife, Kristine, daughter, Jennifer and grandson, Kyle, on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, at UAMS, Little Rock, Arkansas.
Mike was born on Nov. 27, 1949, to Kathleen M. and Russell F. Queen in Buffalo, New York. After graduating from Cleveland Hill High School, he attended Erie County Community College and joined Kappa Sigma Kappa, Gamma Chapter fraternity. Mike then went on to Washington DC for Radio Broadcasting and received his Broadcasting License. In 1969, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Patrick Air Force Base, serving three years during the Vietnam War.
In Dec. 1969, Mike and Kristine were married in Buffalo, New York at Faith United Church of Christ. In 1970, while stationed at Patrick Air Force Base, Mike and Kristine welcomed a daughter, Jennifer Dawn.
Mike is survived by wife, Kristine, daughter, Jennifer, grandchildren, Brianna Boose, and Kyle Boose.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Kathleen M. Queen and Russell F. Queen.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, 2026, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, with A Celebration of Life service to follow at 1 p.m.
