Pamela A. Broberg
Pamela Ann Broberg, 65, arrived at her Heavenly home on July 14, 2026. She was born on Feb. 8, 1961, in California, to John Victor Broberg Sr. and Patricia Looper Broberg. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior when she was 8 years old.
The family moved to Hot Springs in 1968, when Pam was in the first grade. She attended Gardner Elementary, one year at Southwest Junior High, two years at Central Junior High and graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1979.
Pam started working in retail sales, eventually working at Jack and Jill in the Hot Springs Mall and then in Benton. She later worked at the 1st Assembly of God's Pre-School where she was beloved by the students.
She made friends everywhere she went. For several years she made annual trips to Minnesota to visit friends in the winter and to California to see her aunt and attend the Bay-to-Breaker (race) in May.
She had a calling from God to be an encourager — even up to the day she died. She had a prayer list that she used daily in sending up detailed prayers.
Pam is predeceased by her father; her brother, John Broberg, Jr.; and aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her mother, Pat of Hot Springs; her nephew, Vick Broberg of Pennsylvania; her aunts, Mary Forsythe of Arkansas and Jerri Riddle of California; her uncle, James Looper of Hot Springs; numerous cousins; and a host of friends.
She had neurofibromatosis with external and internal tumors. She donated her body to science in hope to find treatments and a cure of the disease.
She was under the care of Arkansas Hospice at her home.
Honorary mention: her family and friends who showed love and compassion during this time and Dr. William Cole, who was her primary care physician.
Celebration of her life will be at Hot Springs Funeral Home Friday, July 17, 2026, with Pastor Teddy Frye and Reverend Larry Burton officiating.
Any honorariums may be made to Church of the Open Door, 700 South Ave., Hot Springs, Arkansas 71913 or Neurofibromatosis Network P.O. Box 1530 Wheaton, Illinois, 60187
