Phylis A. Breckenridge

Phylis Ann Breckenridge, 75, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026.

She was born May 13, 1950, in Hot Springs, to the late Lloyd and Phyllistine Looper Hunt. She was a beloved mom and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, and she will be truly missed by them all.

She retired from the Garland County Sheriff's department, where she worked as a records clerk. She loved her work family and made many lasting friendships.

She was predeceased by her parents and husband, Johnny "Butch" Breckenridge.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kim Gillham Breckenridge and Liz (Curtis) Balcom; grandchildren, Kyle Breckenridge, Zack Gillham, Kayla Breckenridge, Tiffany Gillham, Brady Clark; great-grandchildren, Ella Rowland, Aubrey Breckenridge and Jaxon Rowland.

The family would like to thank LifeNet and the staff of National Park Medical Center Emergency Room for their compassion and care.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026, at Philippi Cemetery, Bismarck, Arkansas, with Steve Ellis officiating.

Arrangements are by Hot Springs Funeral Home.
