Sandra R. Kortenber
Sandra (Sandy) Reinhart Kortenber died on Oct. 16, 2026.
She was born in Stuttgart, Arkansas, on Feb. 8, 1936, to the late Francis and Laura Reinhart.
She attended Catholic school in Stuttgart, St. Mary's Academy in Little Rock, and graduated from St. Edward Hospital School of Nursing in 1957.
Sandy and her husband Bob moved from Pine Bluff to Hot Springs in 1995.
Sandy attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Hot Springs where she was a member of the Council of Catholic Women.
Sandy was pre-deceased by her parents; husband, Bob Kortenber; son, Michael Francis Kortenber; sister, Elizabeth Ballard; and brother, Joe David Reinhart.
She is survived by her children, Bobby (Kacky) Kortenber; daughter, Michelle Laney; grandchildren, Nicholas (Lindsay) Kortenber, Katie (Justin) Lamb and Lindsey (Jason) Pelton; great-grandchildren, Billy Kortenber, Bennett Pelton, Kennedy Pelton, Cash Lamb and Rose Lamb.
Survivors also include brothers, Mike Reinhart and Tommy (Doug) Reinhart.
A rosary will be held on Monday, Oct. 26, 2026, at 10:30a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Hot Springs, Arkansas, with a funeral mass to follow at 11a.m.
A burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to St. John Catholic School. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared athttp://www.GrossFuneralHome.com.
