ShirleyAnn E. McCormick

ShirleyAnn Elaine McCormick, of Hot Springs, passed away on July 8, 2026, at home with family present. She was 94 and a half years old. We were told, "don't forget the half."

ShirleyAnn was born on Jan. 15, 1932, in Hinckley, Minnesota, to Raymond and Ethel Larson.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Reuben Larson and Charlotte Milanovich; and her husband of 62 years, Ron McCormick.

She is survived by her siblings: sister, Joan (Jim) Black; brothers, Dean (Donna) Larson and Mark (Kristi) Larson.

Shirley and Ron have two sons, Kevin McCormick of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Keith (Antoinette) McCormick of Bismarck, Arkansas; grandchildren, Melissa (Marc) Lapointe of Sante, California, Jennifer (Mark) Majdalani of San Marcos, California, Corbin (Morgan) McCormick of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Shaylynn (Kyle) Sheldon of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Dalton McCormick of Bismarck, Arkansas; and great-grandchildren, Macaria, Brooke, Emmalyn, Lukas, Evelyn, Brodie and Emery.

ShirleyAnn and Ron lived in Escondido, California, from 1952 to 2004. While in California, they were involved in many activities and clubs. ShirleyAnn was very active in the Grace Lutheran Church in Escondido. She was the Sunday School director and held various offices with the Women's Ministries.

Upon arriving in Hot Springs in 2004, ShirleyAnn had been very active in First Lutheran Church and the Women's Ministries.

The family would like to thank First Lutheran Church for all of the love and support that you gave ShirleyAnn and the family. You are the hands and feet of Jesus Christ our Lord. Thank you.

A memorial service in her honor will be held at a later date.
