Sidney K. Hughes

DONALDSON — Sidney Kay Hughes, age 79, of Donaldson, passed away Friday, June 19, 2026, in Little Rock. She was born May 24, 1947, to Clyde Herman and Dorothy Halterman. She was a member of Caney Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Alliance Rubber Company. She enjoyed planting flowers, gardening and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Billy Earl Ham Sr.; a stepson, Greg Hughes; and several siblings.

Survivors are her husband, Wayne Hughes; one son, Billy Earl Ham Jr. of Hot Springs; two daughters, Devon Daniels of Hot Springs and Cindy Kay Cain of Huntsville, Arkansas; a stepdaughter, Tammy Hughes of Bismarck; one sister, Alyce Tovar of Palm Springs, California; three grandchildren, Ashley Daniels, Kristy Ham and Zachary (Heidi) Ham; two stepgranddaughters, Taylor Hughes and Allison Wynne; seven great-grandchildren and stepdaughter-in-law, Lynn Hughes.

Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 22, at Regency Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today, June 23, at Regency Funeral Home, with Brother Ralph Ruffin and Brother Bud Sutton officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Bayou Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Phil Hughes, Danny Thacker, Allen Hughes, Freddie Willis, Chris Turnage and Phillip Hughes Jr.

Honorary pallbearers are Randolph Prince, Sherman Prince, Paul Bond and Dr. Purifoy and staff.

Arrangements are by Regency Funeral Home.
