Stephen "Steve" Wayne Womack, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026.

Steve was born on July 27, 1956, to Wayne and Rose Womack. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

He is survived by his sister, Karen Marlin, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends across the country who loved him dearly.

Born with cerebral palsy, Steve lived a life defined by overcoming, perseverance, joy and an unshakable spirit. He graduated from Brandon High School in Brandon, Florida, in 1975. He competed for several years in the Special Olympics and later worked for many years at JCPenney at the Hot Springs Mall.

Steve was an active participant in the First Step Program, where he built lasting friendships and found a community that enriched his life. He loved music of all kinds — especially blues and rock and roll — and he never missed a chance to dance. Steve also had a lifelong fascination with fast cars, whether new models or antiques, and he especially adored Corvettes. Steve was also into CBs. He was a member of Seffner CB Club for years. His handle was Coke Machine because of his love of Cokes.

A graveside memorial service will be held at May Cemetery in Houston, Arkansas, at noon on Friday, June 26.
