Therese Dixon
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Therese Dixon, 85, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home on April 27, 2026.
She was born Feb. 6, 1941, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Therese was known by many as "T," a nickname that fit her warm, joyful spirit. She loved to laugh, had a wonderful sense of humor, and cherished her friendships deeply.
Therese had a heart for caring for others. She graduated from nursing school at the top of her class in New Orleans and devoted many years to her profession, including her time serving patients at St. Joseph's Hospital. Her compassion and dedication made a lasting impact on those she cared for.
A woman of strong faith, Therese was a Baptist and a devoted member of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Hot Springs. Her faith was central to her life, and she loved to witness for Jesus.
She enjoyed cooking — especially her well-loved red gravy — and treasured time spent with her family. Christmas was her favorite time of year, bringing together the people she loved most.
Therese is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Dixon; her children, Eric Capaci (Carolann), Brett Capaci (Cindy), Amanda C. Autin (Jessie Autin II), Philip Keith Kelly (Kim), and Anthony Wayne Kelly; and numerous grandchildren, including Matthias, Josiah, Ezekiel, Chloe and Gloryann Capaci, Lauren Garbowski, Hannah Trapnell, Reagan Barba, Emma Autin, Tyler Autin, and Caleb Aaron Kelly, along with many other beloved family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., today at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Hot Springs, with her two Pastor sons, Bro. Eric Capaci and Bro. Brett Capaci officiating. Burial will be private at Greenwood Cemetery.

Therese will be remembered for her laughter, her faith, her servant's heart, and the love she gave so freely to her family and friends.
