Vickie L.S. Griffith

Brittney Bunn
May 29, 2026

Vickie Lee Shaffer Griffith passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026, at the age of 80.

Born on March 29, 1946, Vickie lived a life defined by love, service, friendship, and devotion to her family and community. She was welcomed into Heaven by the love of her life, and husband of 60 years, Kenneth Lee Griffith, as well as her beloved parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Kenberlee Graves (David), Renee Griffith of Hot Springs, and Kristie Lowry (Curtis) of Benton; her brother, Lynn Selvidge (Linda); and her sister, Belinda Casteleberry (Ronnie).

The greatest joy of Vickie's life was her family. She was a proud and loving grandmother to: Laura Baker, Brittney Bunn-Nichols (Reid), Matt Lowry (Pamela), Sarah Lowry-Evans (Chase), Kenneth Graves (Hannah), Jake Lowry (Lauren), and Kyra Graves. She was also blessed with 10 treasured great-grandchildren: Waylin, Westyn, Emry, Luke, Behr, Owen, Cooper, Lincoln, Livi, and Ryelin. Each of whom brought immeasurable happiness to her life.

Vickie found deep fulfillment in her career as a nurse, caring for others with compassion and dedication. She treasured her friendships at water aerobics, took pride in being a citizen of Hot Springs, and was always willing to volunteer wherever help was needed.

She enjoyed life's simple pleasures, especially a sweet treat after every meal (ice cream), and never missed an opportunity to spend time with those she loved. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the countless lives she touched. The family will hold a private memorial service in her honor. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

"Remember who loves you."
