Warren "George" Lieblong Jr., 76, of Royal, Arkansas, passed away on Aug. 3, 2026.

Born on Feb. 27, 1950, in Evanston, Illinois, to Warren and Mary Lou Lieblong, George was a devoted husband, father, Papa and a passionate teacher, coach and deacon whose influence touched generations of students, athletes and church family. Throughout his life, George brought wisdom, discipline and warmth to every role he held-whether in the classroom, on the field, in ministry, or at home with his family.

An avid outdoorsman, he shared a deep love for deer hunting, creating countless cherished memories in the woods with family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Judith Lieblong; his children, Warren "Trey" Lieblong III (Stephanie) and Nicole Lynn Williams (Ben); his cherished grandchildren, Hunter Lieblong, Kelsey Lieblong, Parker Williams and Hudson Williams; his sister, Marcia Albaugh (Rick); his brother, Daniel Lieblong (Louise); his sisters-in-law, Jeanne Combs (Don) and Janis McKeone; his "kids" from Mountain Pine Schools; and a large extended family.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Lieblong Sr. and Mary Lou Lieblong; and his grandson, Aiden Joseph Williams.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. with a celebration of George's life at 10 a.m. Services will be held on Friday, Aug. 7, 2026, at Piney Baptist Church, located at 3150 Albert Pike Road, Hot Springs, Arkansas, with Brother Larry Catcher officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are Shane Sparks, Eric Oliver, Ryan Guthrie, Mike Sargent, Phil Smith, Jason Vincent, Keith Goss and Brian Owens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to Dr. Kevin Hale, Dr. James Seun and their staff for their years of loving care.
