Wayne R. Hallum
Wayne Richard Hallum, 57, passed from this life on April 22, 2026, in Antlers, Oklahoma. He was born on Nov. 11, 1968, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, to Richard T. Hallum and Carolyn Sue Roy.
Wayne was a faithful man and was proud to be an ordained minister. He had a kind soul and was always willing to help anyone in need, especially senior citizens. In his free time, Wayne enjoyed camping. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Above all else, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his granddaughter: Luna Sky Fryar; mother: Carolyn Sue Roy; sister: Tanya Cagle; and grandparents: Charles and Delma Freet.
Wayne leaves behind his wife: Cheryl Hallum of the home; Children: Kayse Hallum of Norman, Arkansas, Kayla Hallum of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Katelyn Hallum of Hot Springs, Arkansas; step-children: Bobby Thomas of Antlers, Oklahoma and Kelly Watton of Tyler, Texas; father: Richard Hallum and wife, Meri of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; sisters: Sandra Berry and husband, Keith of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Windy Burkhardt and spouse, Jamie of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; Brothers: Douglas Hallum and spouse, Paula of Randolph, Nebraska, Jeremy Hallum and spouse, Cynthia Elk Mound, Wisconsin, Joe Hallum and spouse, Becky of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Peter Eau Claire, Wisconsin; grandchildren: Easton True, Wyatt True, Esme True, Inara Santos, and Grayson Malone all of Hot Springs, Arkansas; step-grandchildren: Corey Walton of Tyler, Texas, Braden Thomas and Brayleigh Thomas of Farmersville, Texas, and Blakely Thomas of Antlers, Oklahoma; as well as numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
A Celebration of life will be held at Crystal Spring Rec and Camping Area, 1130 N Crystal Springs Road, Royal, Arkansas, 71968 at noon on June 6.
Cremation services are entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
