William G. Turner

William "Bill" Glenn Turner, 73, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away March 31, 2026. He was born May 30, 1952, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to William Turner and Lois Turner.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, William Turner; mother, Lois Turner; Sisters, Willie Paul Turner Cohea, Euleen Turner Andrews, Mattie Reed; and brothers, Claude Gray Turner, William Clinton Turner JR, Larry Eugene Turner, Silas Winfred Turner and Alton Turner.

Survivors include his wife, Jan Turner; daughter, Krista Turner; daughter, Sheena Turner-Smith, and grandson, Dimitri Glenn Smith, and extended family members.

Bill, when he was 17, joined the Carpenters Union and became a journeyman carpenter, dedicating his life to his craft and serving his community. He retired in 1999, enjoying his retirement as an avid deer trophy hunter and fisherman, acquiring many impressive, show-worthy mounts in his life. He enjoyed the simple pleasure of sitting on his back porch, spending time with his daughters and his wife Jan, with whom he spent 49 years with by his side.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., today at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

A celebration of Bill's life will be 2 p.m., today at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers are Danny George, Freddy Sears, Chris Isom, Gilbert Terry, and Adam Elmore.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The National Kidney Foundation.
