Bobby Avant

Bobby Avant, 84, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away, Tuesday, June 23, 2026. He was born April 15, 1942, in Hot Springs to the late Argus & Nora Qualls Avant.

He was an Air Force Veteran, of the Pentecostal faith and retired from Alliance Rubber Company.

Bobby is predeceased by his parents; wife, Donna Avant; son, Brandon Avant; sisters, Geraldine Randolph and Pauline Herrin; granddaughter, Lanora Gormley; and son-in-law, Jimmy Morgan.

Survivors include his daughters, Patti Morgan and Monica (Bill) Adland; son, Eric Daw; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5–7 p.m. Monday, June 29, at Hot Springs Funeral Home. Service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Hot Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Avant Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Dakota Foust, Justin Gormley, Toby Gormley, Robin Gormley, Lane Daw and Rick Herrin.

Arrangements are made by Hot Springs Funeral Home.
