Mitzi Gingrich
Mitzi Ppool Gingrich passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 18, 2026, following a long illness. Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, on April 10, 1959. She is preceded in death by her parents, C.L. "Pete" and Virginia Ppool and her husband, Calvin John Gingrich.
Mitzi is survived by her son, John Gingrich and her sister, Marla Ramsey, both of Hot Springs, and her brother, Mike Ppool of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was also a proud aunt to Steve, Sloan and Spencer Ramsey and Adam and Kyle Ppool.
Mitzi graduated from Lake Hamilton High School in 1977 and later received her Masters Degree as a Reading Specialist in Houston, Texas, where she taught for 19 years.
Mitzi was a caring, generous person with a big heart. She loved her family, her friends and her pets.
A private service is planned at a later date.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Memory Care at The Atrium, Dierksen Hospice, Senior Comfort Care, Elijah Pricop, Norma, and Kevin for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness they showed Mitzi throughout her time in their care. Their dedication and loving support will always be deeply appreciated.
