Roger D. Sorters
Roger Darrel Sorters, 76, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Sept. 20, 2026. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend whose life was defined by his love for his family, his hardworking spirit, and the simple pleasures he enjoyed along the way.
Roger proudly dedicated 30 years of his life to United Parcel Service before retiring. Throughout his career, he was known for his commitment and dedication to his work and the people around him.
Outside of work, Roger enjoyed spending time outdoors and making memories doing the things he loved. He especially enjoyed playing golf and riding horses. More than anything, he treasured the time he spent with his family and friends and the moments shared with those closest to him.
Roger is survived by his four children: Angie Kreulen and her husband, Pieter Kreulen; Jared Sorters and his wife, Kasey; Jason Sorters and his wife, Nikki; and Jessica Reed-Schmid and her husband, John Schmid. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers, and three sisters, along with many other close relatives and dear friends.
Roger will be remembered for the love he gave his family, the memories he created, and the special place he held in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. His family will carry those memories forward, cherishing his life and the time they were blessed to share with him for generations to come.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
