Scott Tarsel
Scott Tarsel, age 48, of Hot Springs, passed away on July 29, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his sister, Ann Louise Tarsel.
Scott is survived by his loving parents, Jack and Andi Tarsel; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins who will cherish his memory.
For 34 years, Scott was a beloved participant in the Adult Program at First Step, where he formed many meaningful friendships. He enjoyed watching game shows, especially Wheel of Fortune, as well as Bugs Bunny cartoons and basketball. Scott also had a special love for collecting stuffed animals, particularly Snoopy, which brought him great joy.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today, Aug. 4, 2026, at Caruth-Hale Life Celebration Center, 2529 Airport Road, Hot Springs, AR 71913.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Step, Inc., 407 Carson St., Hot Springs, AR 71901.
Scott will be remembered for the simple joys that made him smile and for the love he shared with his family, friends and caregivers. His memory will be treasured by all who knew him.
