Sharon A.C. Lousteau
Sharon Ann Chauvin Lousteau, 65, passed away peacefully at home in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on June 29, surrounded by her loving family.
Sharon was a devoted wife, mom, grandmother and friend. More than anything, she loved being with the people she cared about.
She never met a stranger. Whether it was a party or a last-minute get-together, Sharon never wanted to miss out. She loved having people around and her laughter, warmth and big heart made everyone feel welcomed. Her laughter was contagious and could send you into a giggle fit for hours. She had an amazing sense of humor and kept things fun all the time.
Sharon found a lot of joy in life, especially when she was outside — working in her garden, spending time by the pool, camping and adventuring, or simply enjoying nature with the people she loved. She also loved to treat all of her family and friends with special, thoughtful gifts.
Her children were the center of her world. She loved them fiercely and supported them through every season of life with unwavering encouragement, compassion and unconditional love. She gave everything she had to the people she cared about, right up to the very end. Even during her illness, Sharon never lost hope and truly believed she would recover. She often spoke about wanting more time — not for herself, but so she wouldn't miss watching her children and grandchildren grow, achieve their dreams and experience all of life's moments alongside them.
That love reached far beyond her own children. Sharon adored her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She always wanted to know how everyone was doing, celebrated every milestone and was so proud of the people she loved. If something good happened to someone in the family, chances are Sharon had already told everyone about it.
She will be remembered for her kind heart, her fierce loyalty and her incredible strength. She was sentimental, wonderfully stubborn and she loved with her whole heart. The love she gave so freely and the memories she made with her family will stay with them always.
Memorial service will be from 10 a.m. to noon at The Arlington Hotel Magnolia room on Saturday, July 18.
