Thomas G. O’Malley

Thomas Gairns O'Malley, age 93, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on July 21, 2026.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, he was the beloved son of the late Philip and Mary O'Malley.

Thomas served his country honorably in the United States Air Force for four years, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. His dedication and patriotism were lifelong qualities he carried with pride.

A devoted community member, Thomas was a proud member of the Lions Club for 25 years, exemplifying his commitment to service and helping others. He was also a faithful member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Hot Springs, where he found strength and fellowship.

While living in Arkansas, Thomas resided at Diamondhead Southridge and Garrett Woods, where he volunteered and formed many cherished friendships.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; his cherished children, Thomas E., Keith R. and Michael K.

He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Norma; 3 daughters-in-law, June, Vicki and Vickie; his grandchildren, Marie (Jacob), Ryan (Kelsey), Lyndsey (Tim) and Dawn; and his great-grandchildren, Elliot, Michael, Lilly, Luke, Arabella and Joselyn.

Thomas's life was marked by service, faith and love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will begin at 2 p.m. and be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Hot Springs on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026.
