Micheal Dean Price Akin
Micheal Dean Price Akin, age 3, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on June 11, 2026. He was born on June 20, 2022, in Frisco, Texas, to Alexander Akin and Natalie Bishop.
Micheal was a joyful, loving little boy whose smile could brighten any room. He was happiest when surrounded by family and had a special way of making everyone feel loved. He loved giving kisses, often gently holding his mom and dad's faces before showering them with affection. A true cuddle bug, Micheal never missed an opportunity to snuggle with those he loved.
Always curious and full of wonder, Micheal was constantly exploring the world around him. He loved being carried on his dad's shoulders and was often found grabbing someone's hand and saying, "Come on," eager to share a new discovery or adventure. Though he was still finding his words, his excitement and enthusiasm spoke louder than any sentence ever could.
Micheal loved playing with his Hot Wheels, chasing butterflies, fishing, and surfing. He had a gentle and caring heart, especially when it came to his sister, whom he loved dearly. He enjoyed sushi and rarely passed up a meal, proudly wanting to grow big and strong just like his dad. Known for his happy spirit and infectious smile, Micheal brought immeasurable joy to everyone who knew him. His precious life, though far too brief, leaves behind a lifetime of beautiful memories that will be cherished forever.
Micheal is survived by his loving parents, Alexander Akin and Natalie Bishop; his beloved sister, Alexandra; paternal grandparents, Kristy Bryant and Michael Akin; maternal grandparents, Micheal and Angela Bishop; paternal great-grandparents, Harold and Cherie Jones; aunts and uncles, Ashley and Marco Ippolito, Nathan and Danielle Bishop and Jonathan; cousins, Scarlett and Elliot Ippolito, Meckenzie and Matthew Bishop; and many loving extended family members and dear friends.
Micheal was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Terry Dean Cerveny; paternal great-grandparents, Donald and Jeanette Dorris; maternal great-great-grandmother, Barbara Lockwood.
Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with a celebration of life to follow at 2 p.m.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to family and friends for their kindness, compassion, and support during this difficult time.
In honor of Micheal, we invite those who wish to wear blue, his favorite color.
The family finds comfort in the words of Matthew 19:14: "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven." Though Micheal's time on earth was far too short, they find peace knowing he is safely in the arms of the Lord and will be loved forever.
